Lt. Dan Choi was arrested with 64 other activists this past Saturday for protesting the Keystone XL oil pipeline in front of the White House. But after spending two nights in jail for what basically amounts to a traffic violation, charges were dropped for everyone but Dan and two others, without explanation.

In addition to standing trial in federal court for protesting DADT on August 29, Dan must now also stand trial in superior court on September 1 to defend himself from these new charges.

We need to let the President, the Justice Department and the Judge know that silencing Dan means silencing all of us. Can you share our campaign with your friends and family and help us collect as many signatures in Dan’s defense as possible to enter as evidence in court on August 29th?

Please share this important campaign with your friends and family and fight back against the government’s attempts to punish Lt. Dan Choi and other dissident activists for fighting injustice.

Last Monday morning, Dan was brought to court in full leg-shackles to be arraigned for refusing to get off the side walk in front of the White House, as if he was the most dangerous man in Washington.

Please help us tell as many people as possible about this important fight for our right to protest.
